A popular wedding hairstyle is to use rollers to set damp hair and then set the hair with a dryer. After removing the rollers they can be lightly brushed and then twisted up with the help of hair jewelry and other accessories. A few strands of the curl can be left out to create a soft and romantic look.

Wedding hairstyles can be made to look special and glamorous with the help of accessories like jewels, ribbon, lace, beads and materials of the same color as the wedding gown. A beaded wrap or chignon on a pony tail or beaded barrettes on short hair can create a beautiful style.

The wedding hairstyle should accentuate the veil and tiara chosen for the occasion. Tiaras studded with pearls, beads and diamonds are suitable for hairstyles worn up or down. But the hairstyle should also be sophisticated and elegant.

The first step would be to decide if you want to keep your hair short, long or tied up. The shape of the face should be considered while choosing a style. Even if you prefer to have a tied up hairstyle, you can have a few loose strands flowing for a feminine effect.

Wedding hairstyles offer varied possibilities of normal hairdos like incorporating plaits, twists or pleats, spikes to the bun. Open hair cascading down the shoulders is suitable for informal occasions. Although it is preferable that it is an indoor event so that the hairstyle is maintained with minimum fuss. Incase you want highlights, it should be done a few days in advance so that the hair is well groomed before the wedding day. Whatever the style, it is important that the hairstyle should suit your dress and personality.
